Since you’re here, you’ve probably heard my story about how I lost 38kgs in one year and went from being ‘lazy & depressed’ to ‘energetic & loving life!’

It was truly amazing for me to finally achieve this—doing what I love and living the life of my dreams, because it hadn’t always been that way. At 16 I was told by a doctor that I would need medications such as anti-depressants, anti-psychotics and even mood stabilisers every day for the rest of my life.

I was told that even menial tasks such as lifting boxes at a fruit shop would be too much for me and I would need a disability pension to get by. For 10 years the belief that I could never do anything with my life held me captive.

So what turned my life around?

I reached a breaking point and decided enough was enough! One day I gave up my medication (I went cold turkey) and traded them in for a new (much healthier) daily prescription of RAW foods, cognitive therapy and exercise.

By educating myself about RAW food I learned how to lose weight and was able to take control of my life once again… saying goodbye to the disability pension and medication I was told I would need forever.
